Life takes us on a lot of twists and turns. My life is especially on a twisty and turny road right now as I have been unemployed for over seven months. As I have a family to take care of and have been looking at the added expense of working toward my second Master’s degree, something had to give. That something, unfortunately, is the Master’s.
It would be irresponsible to add more debt and take time away from the pursuit of taking care of my family for something like this. As such, I am not starting my first course this fall as I had planned to. I am hoping that life’s next twist will put my family back on track.
It’s not the worst thing in the world. We still have a roof over our heads, our toddler is eating, and no one is beating down our door. This will change and these tough times will be forgotten. Always forward!
